The Newborn stage of your child is one of the most precious of their entire life. It is such a fleeting moment in time (although it may not seem that way to new parents who are lacking sleep and thoroughly exhausted). Your baby will NEVER be this small again. One day you are diapering with a newborn and the next thing you know size 2s are getting too small. One night they fall asleep and they wake up with their toes pressing against the end of their sleeper..... Its true... don't underestimate time.

 

Now is the time to capture their size and details. 

 

In my studio, I aim to create a relaxing environment where I capture some memories that will last for life times to come. You get to sit back and observe and take it all in.

Booking your newborn session while still pregnant, should be done for when the baby is between 5 and 20  days old. If you have a planned C-section, that is easy to pinpoint a date. If you are unsure of the "birth day" we tentatively book a date and then tweak it if it doesn't work. I am very flexible with newborn session appreciating that it doesn't always go to plan.

​If you are choosing the deluxe session, siblings and family are done first so that the spouse can leave with the siblings after their part is done. This allows for full focus during the newborn alone portion of the session. The safety and comfort of your baby is the ultimate goal. We aim to have your baby as calm and sleepy as possible which will help to ensure their safety. We will break for cuddles and feeding top ups as needed to maintain their comfort.
